 Noelle S. Gunder

Noelle Sabrina Gunder was born on May 10, 2003, and lived a life that left a lasting imprint on everyone who knew her. As a young woman with special needs, Noelle demonstrated daily that a person’s value is not defined by limitations, but by love, presence, and impact.

Noelle attended Annapolis High School in Maryland, where she was known for her joyful spirit and the warmth she brought into every space. She loved music, spending time at the pool, riding her bike, and simply being around people. She had a natural way of connecting with others. Her smile, her laughter, and her open heart drew people in and reminded them of what truly matters.

Noelle approached life without judgment. She met others with sincerity and affection, teaching powerful lessons through her example — patience, compassion, resilience, and unconditional love. Those who encountered her were better because of it.

Her life is the foundation of the Noelle S. Gunder Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship exists to support future Special Education educators who understand that serving students with disabilities is not just a career, but a calling. Noelle’s story stands as a reminder that every child has dignity, every life carries purpose, and the right educator can change a family’s future.

Though her years were few, her influence is enduring.
